Electric Stair Climber for 200-400 kg Stair Transport

Wheel-type and crawler-type electric stair climbers rated 200 kg to 400 kg, for moving heavy goods between floors without a lift.

Product Overview

Electric stair climbers replace manual lifting and hand trucks for moving heavy equipment between floors. Two configurations are available: wheel-type models with brushless motors for straight staircases and lighter loads, and crawler-type models that spread the load over a track for greater stability on steep or narrow stairs.

Both types are battery powered and operated by a single person, which is typically faster and safer than assembling a temporary hoist.

Wheel-type models use brushless motors; crawler-type models use servo or brushless drive with higher stability on narrow staircases.

Structure & Components

Floor Requirements

Air casters require a smooth, flat and sealed floor with gaps no larger than 3 mm. Epoxy-coated concrete, polished concrete and steel plate flooring are recommended. Rough, cracked or unsealed surfaces prevent the air film from forming and must be prepared before installation. We review your floor condition and provide preparation guidance before quotation.

FAQ

Q1: What is the difference between wheel-type and crawler-type?
Wheel-type models (WESC) use wheels with brushless motors and suit straight staircases with moderate loads. Crawler-type models (CESC) use a track that spreads the load, giving more stability on steep, narrow or curved stairs.
Q2: Can the climber handle a spiral staircase?
Spiral staircases require careful assessment of width, tread depth and landing space. Please provide staircase photos and dimensions and we will confirm whether a wheel-type or crawler-type model is suitable.
